Etz Efraim
Etz Efraim (, ''lit.'' Tree of Ephraim) is a mixed (religious and nonreligious) urban Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located between Ariel and Rosh HaAyin, it falls under the jurisdiction of Shomron Regional Council. As of 2013 the official number of families who live there is about 250. Yet, the numbers are about to increase with the populating of the two new neighborhoods, "Ramat Elkana", and the "Hrchava". The name “Etz Ephraim” symbolizes the location of the inheritance of the tribe of Ephraim. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this. == References ==
